This policy explains what information Home Equity Calcs ("we") handles when you visit homeequitycalcs.com.
What you type into the calculators
The calculations run in your browser. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, address or Social Security number, and we do not store the numbers you enter with anything that identifies you.
Usage data
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, the device and browser type, the approximate location (country, state or city), how you reached the site, and calculator events such as reaching the results step, including rounded results like the estimated credit limit. Google Analytics uses cookies; you can block or delete them in your browser, or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. See Google's privacy policy.
Hosting and your state
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site. We use the state that Cloudflare derives from your connection to pre-fill the state field and to decide which offers can be shown where you live. We do not store your IP address.
Links to other companies
If you click a link to a lender or another company, you leave our site. That company's privacy policy applies to anything you share with it.
Selling or sharing personal information
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for targeted advertising.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
